Online Sales Assistant

When customers are in need of general information your job is to help them find what they need. You will be responsible for dealing with customer enquiries, promoting the company, informing customers about product choices and helping them to place an order through the Online store.

Essentially, your job is to make sure every single customer leaves satisfied.

In this role you will be responsible for answering any questions customers have for you before and after a purchase.

You will assist the Sales Consultant with processing the sale in the back-office, you therefore need to be highly computer literate.

Skills Required:

Retail Shop Assistant

Routine daily duties:

  • Greeting customers who enter the shop.
  • Be involved in stock control and management.
  • Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
  • Stocking shelves with merchandise.
  • Answering queries from customers.
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the manager.
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
  • Balancing cash registers with receipts.
  • Dealing with customer refunds.
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes floors and windows.
  • Deal with customer complaints.
  • Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor.
  • Responsible for security within the store and being on the look-out for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards etc.
  • Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
  • Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

Quality Controller

Our company requires the skill and knowledge of an experienced Quality Controller to join our Team.

Function may require:

  • The role of the Quality Controller is to ensure that all necessary records are carried out correctly, recorded, filed and to raise awareness with the Production Teams when any results show a nonconformance.
  • Carry out own spot checks during the production day to ensure that the checks are being carried out as per required.
  • Offer training and guidance in order to ensure all checks are carried out effectively and correctly.
  • When a non-conformance has been spotted during the checks, immediately notify the Production Manager.
  • Where a non-conformance occurs stop the line immediately and inform Production Manager.
  • Receive all completed and signed forms from the line leaders at the end of the shift and check them for non-conformances, correct completion and signatures. The completed forms then need to be filled in the correct location and kept on file for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Carry out calibrations for all key monitoring equipment and ensure that the yearly independent calibrations and certifications are up to date and recorded.
  • Play an active part in the line leaders team meetings to raise awareness on any non-conformances from the previous day.
  • Ensure all Quality documentation with respect to checks is up to date and raise any issues with the Production Manager.
